Laura H. Rockwell, age 78, of Chambersburg, passed away August 2, 2007 at her home . She was born May 4, 1929 in McConnellsburg, Pa to John and Susan (Souders) Hendershot. She was married to Richard Rockwell on May 15, 1948. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Chambersburg. She, along with her husband, was a partner in Laurich Company in Chambersburg. She is survived by her husband Richard and their four children; Richard E. (husband of Kathy) Rockwell Jr. of Hagerstown, Md., Mary Elizabeth ( wife of Travis) McKee of Chambersburg, Jeffrey T. (husband of Tina) Rockwell of Chambersburg, and Gregory L. (husband of Susan) Rockwell of Chambersburg. She is also survived by Shirley (Short) Hendershot of McConnellsburg, Bernice Reasner of Chambersburg, Ruth Frank of Chambersburg, Sarah Garland of Needmore, Harry Edward Hendershot of McConnellsburg, John Hendershot of McConnellsburg, and Dorothy Mellott of Chambersburg. Laura is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Hendershot and a grandchild, Amanda Rockwell. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2007 at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., 725 Norland Ave., Chambersburg with Pastor Tom Henlien officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Interment will be held at Parklawn Memorial Gardens.
