Obituary for Ronald L. Shehan Sr.

Ronald L. Shehan Sr., 76, of Orbisonia, passed away on Saturday November 10, 2018 at his home with his family by his side. Ronald was born on Sunday August 2, 1942 in Orbisonia, the son of the late Betty (Moore) Brown.
Ronald is survived by his devoted wife Barbara Nickoloff Shehan of Orbisonia and three children: Daughter, Leigh Ann and husband Donald McAllen of Fannettsburg. Sons, Ronald L. Shehan Jr. and wife Lori of Rockhill Furnace and James Shehan and wife Christie of Dry Run. Also survived by four beloved grandchildren, including two college graduates, a Marine veteran, a talented artist; and two great grandchildren. Brothers, Jerry Brown of Shippensburg and Donald Brown of Orbisonia, and a number of nieces and nephews. As well as his dog and fearless protector, Chase. Mr. Shehan served in the Army Reserves and was a lifetime member of the Orbisonia Rockhill Fire Department. He was employed by C.W. Wright, Harbison-Walker and East Broad Top Railroad. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed word searches. A celebration of his life will be held on the 24th of November at the Orbisonia/Rockhill firehall for 9 AM to noon. The family has entrusted Ronald's care to Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home in McConnellsburg, PA. Online condolences may be expressed at
